The holiday season is upon us and with it comes one of our favorite events — the Our Local Commons Cookie Swap!
December is a month of festivity, sharing, and perhaps best of all, eating and enjoying the company of friends and family. This annual event, which will held at Paradox Pastry in downtown Charlottesville on Tuesday, December 15, provides the opportunity to gather over holiday treats and wine, share a favorite recipe, and enjoy new ones as well.
Here’s how it works:
- Guests bring 3–4 dozen of a holiday treat.
- Email us the recipe to share.
- Everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy the holiday deliciousness and take some home as well.
- Recipes are posted on the website after the event so we can all make and enjoy our favorites!
This is one of our favorite events because we love reveling in the holiday spirit and festivity in the company of old friends and new friends alike! This is a perfect opportunity to share with the community and gather some new favorite recipes too!

When: Tuesday, December 15 – 5:30 p.m.
Where: Paradox Pastry, 313 2nd St SE #103, Charlottesville
Bring: 3–4 dozen holiday treats to share + $5 for wine
