We are overjoyed to share the news that Our Local Commons—Charlottesville, Volume II, has been selected for the 2015 Virginia Festival of the Book!
This is the second year in a row that we’ve had the privilege of being part of the Festival of the Book. As part of the festival this year, on Wednesday, March 18 we will be part of a demo and tasting event called Good Local Food: Finding, Preparing, and Tasting, alongside Brooke and Luther Fedora — authors of The Foodie’s Beer Book and owners of Horse & Hound Gastropub.
Gay Beery, founding chef and owner of APimento Catering, will be lending her talents for our portion of the event. We love Gay and think she’s the perfect ambassador for the Our Local Commons—Charlottesville project, participating as a sponsee in Volume I and then turning around and serving as a sponsor in Volume II. We are honored to have her by our side for this event.
Stay tuned for details as we get closer to the time and check out the event page for more information on how to attend.
We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for loving this project alongside us and helping it gain this sort of attention. We are so very grateful for each and every one of you.
